The 12 cubic yard container (also known as a "12 yarder" or "12yd" for short) is the most commonly ordered size of container. A 12yd is big enough to hold alot of material, yet is small enough that it has a relatively light footprint on the ground. They are used for just about everything you can think of, from re-roof jobs to new home construction to homeowner junk cleanouts. The dimensions of a 12yd allow easy side loading, in addition to being equipped with a rear door that may be opened during loading. The container's construction is designed to handle higher density loads such as asphalt shingles and renovation materials.
